It is plain to see that the buzz and the community interest generated by the Starbuck Dragon Boat Festival will certainly make history on the western shores of Lake Minnewaska. Starbuck and the whole surrounding area have Dragon Boat MANIA!

The Starbuck Area Chamber of Commerce along with the Gladys Brang Foundation has teamed up with the Great White North from Toronto, Canada, to provide you with a race of a lifetime. Along with the dragon boat races, the waterfront will be the setting for music, food, beverages, and activities for kids. It's coming the weekend of August 8th & 9th, 2008.
